Dion & Sons is proud to introduce the first of three new trucks that will soon be joining our fleet. Currently receiving their final touches in our Long Beach truck shop and onboard technology shop, these new units represent our continued investment in reliability, capability, and future growth.

Built to handle demanding jobs, these trucks are designed to deliver exceptional performance in both everyday operations and emergency response situations.

The new units are 2026 Mack Granite tractors equipped with 5,000-gallon, four-compartment tanks manufactured by Westmor Industries in Shawnee, Kansas. Each truck is registered for a safe and legal operating weight of 65,000 pounds, allowing it to carry a full 5,000-gallon load of diesel.

To maximize versatility and response capability, each truck is equipped with two separate pumps operated by a true air-operated dual manifold system. This design allows two different products to be pumped and delivered simultaneously, which is particularly valuable during emergency response situations such as fire support incidents.

In addition to dual-product pumping capability, the trucks feature onboard power inverters, power points, and product pull points mounted on both sides of the unit. This configuration allows auxiliary pumping equipment to be utilized when needed, providing additional flexibility in complex fueling scenarios.

When paired with the proper equipment and trained team members, these units can deliver two different fuels simultaneously from both sides of the truck. This capability enables Dion & Sons to respond quickly during emergencies while still delivering strong performance during standard daily operations.

The result is a truck built for both power and efficiency — minimizing product waste while maximizing payload capacity to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

As these trucks prepare to enter service, they represent more than just new equipment. They reflect Dion & Sons’ commitment to building for growth, investing in advanced capabilities, and supporting the needs of our customers today and in the future.

Depend on Dion.
